Training Initiative: The National Education Association has announced that teacher training programs in Kentucky, Maine, and Tennessee will be part of the NEA Teacher Education Initiative, a new union project designed to upgrade preparation. Each program will receive a link to the NEA's computer network, a $5,000 grant, and staff support from the union.
