Davidson and Associates Inc., a publisher and distributor of multimedia education and entertainment software, and Compaq Computer Corp. have announced the winners of the first Compaq Teacher Lesson Plan Contest. In the national competition, educators created an original lesson plan. The grand-prize winner is Dianna Strachan of Yavneh Day School in Los Gatos, Calif. The four first-prize winners are: George Bentley of Paso Robles, Calif.; Robert Macaulay of Bakersfield, Calif.; Pearl Toy of Cupertino, Calif.; and Joel Littauer of Bell, Calif. Each winner receives a choice of five software titles.
